First Contact

Your journey toward financial wellbeing begins with a conversation. During this initial discussion, we will learn a bit more about you and what it is you are trying to achieve. 

We will also teach you about Strategy First and answer any questions you have about our approach or process.  Should we determine we are a good fit for each other, we will proceed to the second phase, which involves collecting relevant financial data and information.

In the event we decide we are not the best fit for each other, rest assured, we will endeavour to guide you towards someone who is.

First Contact

Discovery

Once we have agreed we are a good fit for each other, we begin our discovery process.  This process helps us to thoroughly understand you, your position and what it is you are hoping to achieve.  You will be asked to complete a Fact Find document at the beginning of this phase, detailing your personal and financial information, and we will follow-up with an in-depth meeting to go over the information you have provided and to hear from you in your own words.  This meeting is another fantastic opportunity for you to ask questions of us.

Letter of Engagement

Once we are satisfied we understand you well enough to prepare a Financial Plan, you will be sent a Letter of Engagement document that outlines our understanding of your position and objectives, the scope of work required and the cost of that work. 

If you are happy with the contents of your Letter of Engagement, you accept, and we are committed to working together to improve your financial future.

At this stage, you will receive your Initial Invoice.

Create Advice

You can now take a back seat as your team of wealth professionals prepare a set of comprehensive, personalised recommendations designed to give you the best chance of achieving your objectives.  

This advice will be presented in a written document called a Financial Plan.

Once your plan is ready to review, we will send you a copy and arrange a meeting where we can discuss the advice.  Our goal in this part of the process is to ensure you understand and feel comfortable with the recommendations, so feel free to ask as many questions as you need to! 

When you are happy with the proposed path ahead, we turn to implementation and our future partnership, both of which will be outlined in your Financial Plan and discussed at our meeting.

At this stage, you will receive your Final Invoice.

Present Advice

Implementation and Ongoing Relationship

Knowing the path is one thing, walking the path, another.  We now enter the most critical and most valuable stage of the advice journey.  The advice presented in your financial plan provides a framework showing, not only the actions required in the short term, but also your longer-term capabilities.  We want you to have the greatest chance of succeeding at both.  This is best achieved via our ongoing partnership – a structured programme of accountability, support, and flexibility for when things inevitably change in your life or the world around us.  Importantly, our relationship will be focused on your overall Financial Wellbeing and will be dedicated to providing you with the peace of mind that comes from having a team of professionals in your corner.

The level of service required, and the cost of that service will vary based on your specific needs.  It will be discussed during your Financial Plan presentation and will be formalised via an Ongoing Fee Agreement (OFA).
