We are grateful to be part of our community.

Being involved in the community is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. It means actively participating in local events, volunteering for causes that matter, and connecting with fellow community members. Whether it's helping out at a neighborhood clean-up, supporting a local charity, or joining community meetings, engagement fosters a sense of belonging and empowerment. It's an opportunity to make a positive impact, strengthen social bonds, and contribute to the collective well-being of the community. Ultimately, being involved in the community not only enriches our lives but also plays a vital role in building a vibrant and resilient society.

Below you can find information on how we get involved with our community and our clients.

It's in the Bag!

Continuing on from our Polished Man success, we also got involved with the It's in the bag program, sponsored by the ‘Share the dignity’ charity organisation.

They encourage people all over Australian to put together Adult, Teen or Mum and Bub bags filled with essential items, and maybe some everyday luxuries and a handwritten note, to donate to women who are experiencing domestic violence, poverty, or homelessness.

Lead by our wonderful team member, Melissa Richards, who is a yearly contributor to the cause, we have been fortunate enough to prepare 13 bags for donation this year, which will be distributed along with other donations to over 3,000 charities nationwide by the ITTB volunteers.

2 x Mum & Bub Bags

7 x Adult Bags

4 x Teen Bags

Thank you, Melissa (pictured), for sharing this wonderful initiative with us and allowing us to help people in need this Christmas.

Polished Man

This year, we were able to raise $17,443 for Polished Man campaign in October to help end violence against women and children.

Everyone should have the chance to live a happy, healthy, and safe life. but the reality right now is that violence against women and children are major global public health problems and violations of human rights and in the past couple of years, they’ve only gotten worse.

THE FACTS:

  • One of two children experience violence each year.
  • One of three women have experienced violence in their lifetime.
  • Around 95% of all victims of violence experience it at the hands of a male perpetrator.
  • One child is killed every fortnight at the hands of a parent in Australia.
  • In Australia, on average, one woman a week is killed by her intimate partner.
  • Globally an estimated 137 women are killed by their intimate partner every day.

Thank you to everyone who participated, painted a nail blue, or bravely spoken out against domestic violence. Your actions have a lasting impact.
